That's... that's really hard question, actually xD
I guess the best choice is to check songs first, to get the general glimpse of the whole story, then grab manga. Anime is kind of tricky choice for newcomer, so it's better to check it when you already have some knowledge of KagePro.
And about novels... Many of them are not translated or translations are scattered, so it's hard to find them. That's a shame, since the one who is the writer of novels is Jin, creator of KagePro songs himself. orz
