Notice the bottom corners.
And since it's animated, well... those darker blocks are also going with the 'flow'.

I'm going to take a guess....
Those darker blocks are actually the 'edges' of the 'moon'. If I scroll down, they move with the 'moon'. And the moon stops going down as well when those blocks.
Actually.... http://puu.sh/kLEsY/20f4d92da3.png
That line there is part of said edge.
Basically, the edge and external values of the 'moon project' are showing up.

flashlight, love :P

the whole thing is static, we looked at the code for the whole thing.. there are "border" elements put down, probably to keep the thing in place all the time and not just have it run off somewhere and leave the main part of the board completely black xD

another thing I noticed bugged from the theme is that I currently can't use my mouse wheel to open things in new tab... like, if i click on an image number with the wheel, instead of loading a new tab, it loads in the same one.

That might be your browser, Rabbit? Are you using Chrome? On Firefox it works just fine, opening tabs like that.

I don't think it's browser, because I'm using Firefox and have the same problem...
Although the difference is that I use touchpad instead of mouse, so I open new tabs by holding down ctrl while clicking link, so maybe this is entirely diferent situation with entirely different possible solution.

Here is the effect as seen with a brighter background. I also noticed that the flashlight moves higher up when you're at the top of the page. Is that normal?

Since this is also related to theme bug, but it's just minor problem, so no point to create new thread:

There is a third image hiding behind non-tan+nico
