I think the problem is that the gradient background should match with the banner displayed, and if you choose it (the banner) randomly there should be a script to choose the right background...onomeister wrote:or is it too much script to rotate 3 or 4?
The best way to do that is having a little php script directly in the css - ...er is it even possible ? interesting thing to try... - or having multiple css and choosing one of them randomly. But modifying the phpBB script for that is a lot of bother for nothing...
Edit :
Seems like the php generated css is possible, but the css file must have .php as extension...
index.html
Code: Select all
<html>
<head>
<link href="css.php" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
Code: Select all
body {
<?php $a=rand (1,2);
if ($a==1) $color="blue";
else $color="red";
echo "background:".$color; ?>
}

Well, I guess I should've asked that the banners fit in with the current theme and gradiant. Like the current one being used (by Drake) doesn't fit well with the forum theme unless there is a logo bg to fit along side it as well (in the area where all the purple curently is). Any ideas on this?
