So, I was thinking that we posters could have a bit of fun and challenge. Like, every month, the mods decide on a theme. Let's say "traps". Then, we post as many trap pics as we can and when the month is over, whoever posted the most will get a free upgraded picture slot. So, 15 pictures would now be 16.

Rules would be:

You have to be an active poster

At least have uploaded more than 200 pics on your account

You have to sign up before you start posting pics, or it won't count

You have to have 15 upload slots to compete, not more

Seems like a fun activity. I don't have anything against it. It'll be difficult getting enough people to play though. You might want to mention something on the board if you get the okay to do this.

The prize should be greater as well. One image slot increase is not very appealing.

Besides, if it's every month, 5 months means you'll have +5 slots. And Julia it is appealing enough because it's not a one time thing.
And again, as "you must have 15 upload slots to compete" is a bit eliminating those who want more slots. I'm totally against it.

I would vote to strike the last rule from it. I think the idea with that was to put a cap on how many slots you could win, but it's too exclusive.

If it keeps generating interest maybe we'll go for it, haha. Spread the idea around, folks.

We can change the rules to whatever fits, this was just a starting idea anyway to see if it could work

Hmm, it would be a bit tough to actually find stuff with non-visual themes like "trap", but still sounds interesting

I think that even if it wasn't done on a monthly basis it would be a good idea though.
Maybe having it as a special occassion event it would be more popular? I don't know. Maybe something like a holiday event?

Participation cap could be something like can't win twice in a row; can't win more than five times. And then we could give more than 1 upload slot. Maybe three? Fifteen extra slots would be a lot though.

Oh! And, and maybe the challenges could be done around a mods birthday? Then they can choose the challenge tag and it's like a whole month of pretty birthday gifts to the mods!
