So, today when trying to upload images from the HnR artbook, I kept getting the error "this is not an image file" while the similar search had no problems uploading and showing the image.
It took me a while before I realized I was trying to upload an image that is over 70mb in size, when the limit is 16...
So my suggestion is that the error is changed, instead of "This is not an image file" it should show "Image file too large"
It would save tons of time for other people, instead of them wondering what the hell is wrong with the upload, when it's quite obviously an image file

Man, I agree. I've had to lower the quality settings on images in Paint.net just so they can barely upload. And lower settings means lower quality. I only had to do this maybe three times at the most, but still.

Update: Wow, I totally misunderstood this, hahahah. I agree though, a change in description would be great.

An increase in limit size would be nice too but I am sure would strain the server.

I agree with you Rabbit-chii! This happens all the time I want to post larger version of some image (above 16 MB). I've wasted a lot of time to figure out what's wrong (I even thought image is bugged) .

Hotfixed because I was bored. This may not be the final form.


I sent it over to Anony and Eva-neechan for review. They'll probably want the text to be styled somehow. I'm not good with pretty, just functional.

Can we do something about that maximum as we-*shot*
