I'm using these boards to find soothing and relaxing wallpapers to use at work and home, something to just dream away in inbetween deadlines and headaches. So, I have no idea which artist has painted what picture and I have definately no idea whatsoever what characters there are in the picture. The only thing I can figure out is a couple of tags perhaps.
Now and then I want to get back to a picture to read the comments for it, to get more information about it, maybe to find out what artist made it and what series it's from and all that, and the only thing I have to go on is the file name.
So, I would suggest adding a file name search option to the image search.
(Kudos for using the YYYY-MM-DD format for filenames btw, which is endlessly more useful when sorting than the "classic" western MM-DD-YYYY)
Being able to search for a filename
That isn't necessary. The filenames are compiled with the following format: YYYY-MM-DD-ID#
What you need is the ID value, which you should place at the end of the following URL,
http://e-shuushuu.net/image.php?mode=view&image_id=

If you have a picture named, say, 2008-01-09-84551.jpg, you can just go to the e-shuushuu page
http://e-shuushuu.net/image.php?mode=vi ... e_id=84551
to see it. Is that what you mean? Because if you're talking about images from other parts of the Net, you're out of luck.

[witty remark here]
Yeah that's what I'm looking for. Clever. Thank you both!primetch wrote:If you have a picture named, say, 2008-01-09-84551.jpg, you can just go to the e-shuushuu page
