Well, I failed at guessing what it says.
Asked a friend who knows more JP than me and she could not figure it out.

メ　Or 　ア　？。。。え。。。？。。。ｈｍｍ　I cant read this.

It left me wondering if its Chinese.

Not too similar to Chinese. Maybe it is Japanese but does not seem to be. I'm not sure.
