Haven't played the game, but with some research, I've discovered that she's Tamamo (玉藻). One could also say she's Izumo Asuka (出雲明日香), but that might be getting a little too technical with the story.

On the other hand, I now want to play this game. The story seems vaguely interesting, star-studded seiyuu list (Horie Yui, Tamura Yukari, Mizuki Nana, oh my), very sad, depressing tone; what's not to like? Ratings seem to be a bit scattered, but that appears to be because there were no additions made in the PS2 -> PC remake and the baffling lack of a skip function.

To clear up any confusion, the story is based around plays. The students involved, whose character profiles you can find on any site about the game, put on historical plays. Tamamo is a character Izumo Asuka is portraying... kind of. It appears to be more of a "former life" plot device, but again, that's getting more into the story than I can really tell you with certainty.

Oooohhhh, so "Tamamo" is a character that a subplot implies to be something more. That explains it. That's one more thing off my list
