Ahhh~!!!
That made it look about 200x BETTER.
Haha, I just happened to start photoshop, so I still dont know a lot about it.
Thank you so much for the help! Everytime I try and ask an artist about anything, They just kinda ignore me. ;/

It was a trick I was lucky enough to find on Internet a few years ago, back when I was still trying to understand how most Photoshop options worked. ^^' I'm sure you'll get used to systematically finish your drawings with these few steps, as I did. ^^

I know it's hard work to learn using a new program... *is a self-taught artist who had a bit too much pride and too few attention span to check tutorials and such*, but don't give up and ask if you have a problem. We're all learning together after all. :)

I'll just think of it as them who are afraid you'd get better than them sooner if they helped. :lol: More seriously, if they would be only half happy to help, I'd rather not get help from them. Learning and helping to draw should be fun for both parties. If the wannabe pros don't want to bother, then they miss part of the enjoyment by their narrow-mindedness. Too bad for them. :wink:

I've always used the clipping mask tool to do those kind of things.
(I still manage to muck it up though lol)

I've just realised that I've run out of time to finish my next piece of work before I go on holiday... tomorrow... yeah... ^^;;
I'm away for two weeks but I might still have the internet while I'm away, so there's some potential for me to be able to post up the stuff I've already scanned while I'm away :)
(Two weeks is a long time >.>)

See you all when I get home *waves*

Goodbye, LilFlow, come back soon~ !

I'll need you tell me what's a Clipping mask tool next time ! Maybe my Photoshop 2.0 doesn't have the option at all. :oops:

And good news for me~ I've been given a very suitable idea for a small manga a few hours ago. Thanks, Myu-chan ! ^^

Does it really matter what Photoshop you use?
I have heard from my friends (who do expert photography) say that they all basically work the same with drawing, just not in photo.
I use Photoshop CS.
Should I go out of my way and get a later model?
Do you think it will help?

they're pretty much all the same;
only the newer have a few more features that are actually good only if you're into image editing; nothing actually worth it if it's for drawing

You're welcome dear. I can't wait to see what it will turn out. ^^
May I ask for you to do a little sketch of the girl? It doesn't need to be detailed or anything related to that, I want to see how you imagined her. I'll try to do a sketch of her too. :)
