Comic Market 77 (C77)

With Comic Market 77 coming up some of us are making an extra effort to save a bit of extra money for the auctions. I've noticed i the past that I missed or discovered very late that some very interesting goods were up on auction. A few of those times I already ended up placing bids on other (less interesting) goods and didn't have any savings left for those more interesting goods.

So I was thinking of making this little thread here as I know a few here are looking forward to C77. However I'm sure not everyone knows or has yet decided what to look out for. With this thread I hope some will post about things that might look interesting for fellow fans.

I'll start with these 2 dakimakura covers from Xuse featuring Satsuki and Nozomi

1 is priced at 10000 Yen but getting the set costs only 18000 Yen (this is for Club Xuse members only afaik). Now when these 2 get to auction there prices will probably start at around 9000 Yen for a single dakimakura cover)

Last year I got the set of Narukana and Katima dakimakura covers at a "buy now" price of 24000 Yen. My advice would be not to think too long over this price and get it asap as prices of a single dakimakura cover ended close to 12000-15000 Yen. Some of the covers from last year are still available (new condition) but you'll have to spend around 20000-22000 to get just 1 of those covers.




I know that 24000 Yen is a lot for a set and some of you might not be ready to spend this much money on just 2 dakimakura covers. This is also the reason I've started this thread so that others can make a better choice of what's worth bidding on and what to leave aside.

Well so far I'm only interested in artbooks, the same type like those from Tony Taka or Kantoku that were released C76. Not sure if C77 will see any new artbooks or full color illustration doujins from such artists.

Found 2 interesting items that Debonosu (Yamamoto Kazue's company) will be selling at C77:

Two binders:
- A telephone card binder (A4 size) at 3000 Yen (includes 1 telephone card)..
- A stick poster binder at 2000 Yen.

Now what's interesting about these? Well from what I could understand they each come with double the amount of refills as other binders of this type.

- The telephone card binder comes with 10 refills that can each contain 10 telephone cards. You'll have storage space for 100 telephone cards. Other binders of this type usually have only 5 refills.
- The stick poster binder comes with 20 refills. You can fit 2 posters in 1 refill You'll have storage space for 40 stick posters. Other binders of this type usually have only 10 refills.

The are good items at a good prince and the mascot characters is kawaii.

Although I know Merun and I talked about it some in a chat, mentioning this for the rest of you guys: sayori and ideolo are releasing a 2010 calendar, cover here:


Combined with a paper bag, this makes their first set for C77. Their second set is comprised of a Touhou doujin, pictured here and here (front and back, most likely), as well as two clear files (perhaps of the same images? Not defined yet). Last, everyone who buys something from them will receive a free New Year's greeting card with a tiger theme.

Neko set (B4 calendar + paper bag) = 1500 yen.
Touhou set (doujin + two clear files) = 1500 yen.
New Year's greeting card = free.


Next up, 130cm is releasing an Oni Uta. soundtrack and Oni Uta. telephone card, both pictured here:


They also have a third, as of yet undisclosed item. The main reason I mention these goods is because I quite liked Oni Uta. for its excellent art and likable characters (a bit heavy on the ecchi scenes, though).

Entire set (soundtrack + telephone card + ???) = 3000 yen.


Last for now is Key's goods. They'll be releasing two more Little Busters! character CDs (last year, they released Natsume Rin and Tokido Saya's); this year we'll see the remaining two Ecstacy characters, Futaki Kanata (yay!) and Sasasegawa Sasami (hrm, I guess yay). Also related to Little Busters! is this Kudravka voice switch. It apparently says "waho!", "wahoo", and "waahoo"... well, if you know Kuu-kou's personality, it makes sense. ^^;;


Key is also releasing some Rewrite goods (yay). First is a rough illustration book, and second is a 2010 calendar.


Entire set (two character CDs + voice switch + B5 - 32 page rough illustration book + calendar) = 5000 yen.

Ooh that calendar looks really great as does the Touhou doujin. Good thing is that I still need a 2010 calendar so I'll try to get this one. Any idea about the size and price it will be sold at C77 (I have a feeling that calendar will be hard to get and that prices will get really high on auction.

It might be available on Toranoana. Their doujin was sold on it a few days after the end of C76.

Those that don't have a Tinkle dakimakura cover (like me) here's one that will be sold at C77.

Sale price is 10500 Yen
Size is 160 x 50 cm (you can easily use a 150 x 50 cm pillow with these)




I don't think I'll buy one as prices will get very high on auction for this.

By the way, I've been detailing more things I see for C77 at my site (shameless plug. >_<;; ), since a lot of stuff will not quite be safe for shuu... I'll need to make a post here about the safer stuff sometime soon. =P

Here's something for the yuri fans. 2 new "Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo" (その花びらにくちづけを) doujinshi will be released at C77. 1 is a book the other a CD-ROM.

In other news. The 2 seinarukana dakimakura covers I mentioned earlier are available for preorder. There might be 1 tiny problem. When I asked about it at Crescent Shop they said it is possible for none-Club-Xuse members to preorder it too. Club-Xuse members get a 2000 ¥ discount if they order both covers at once and they don't have any shipping charge to pay for. Normal visitors/buyers will have to pay the charge and don't get the 2000 ¥ discount.

What bothers me is that Crescent Shop staff told me that while they are able to order the goods will not include the stick posters. I find this strange. It doesn't make any sense. Why would they (Xuse) not give the posters when preordering. Are they planning to give the posters separately at C77 only? What bothers me even more is that they also seem to punish preorders from Club-Xuse members this way while those people pay for their membership.

I think the Crescent Staff didn't really understand my question or didn't really look far enough for the information (message quoted here)

I have another order I would like to place. From what I could understand regular visitors can order these goods too and no registration is required for it. I could be wrong so could you please check if it is possible for you to order these goods? Could you also confirm the following: From what I was able to understand each item (listed bellow) includes 1 (or 2) stick posters. I'm not sure if these are only available at C77 or if these stick posters will also be delivered by ordering online. Could you see if these are included or not before making an estimation?
