I'm probably late for joining, but it doesn't hurt to try! :D

I would like to join the tagging team! Unless we already have a sufficient amount of tagging members already. ^^ I've been a Shuu member for quite a long time & I'm also very active! I'm good at identifying artist, tags, & I'm also familiar with Shuu Wiki. I scope most of my uploads from pixiv & orginal artist sites. I can navigate pretty well around most artist sites since I'm accustomed to them. Also, I enjoy welcoming new users & giving them the rules & background of Shuu so they can find comfort in browsing the board.

Ahh! Well, please consider me in the the future. I've pretty much given my full time to the board & I'm very dedicated to E-shuushuu, but it's okay if I'm not accepted. I will still help the image board since organization is very important!

Thank you for your time! :D

Hello, I would like to apply as a tagging team please. I know it's too early but I've been thinking about this for a while. Unless if we have enough member already. I can say that I'm good at tagging, and finding the artist of the image. I've always wanted to help the other users, both of tagging and the artist. Mostly I found my images on Pixiv so I always take my time to find the artist. :)

Lately I realized that shuu isn't organized as well as I started to upload my images. I've always tried to fix some images, but some of new users always ignores my comment and keeps uploading new images. Even there are some users who asked for help to find the artist and missing tags, but they seemed to ignore my comment. And I wish I could help them. Also to tag the old images with wrong or no artist. ^^

I often edit the artist page on the wiki so the other users would find the website or the pixiv page of the artist. I've been trying to be nice to everyone and respect the rules. I know what parent and child tags are, what is forbidden and what not. :3

Please take your time, I would love to be the part of the team. :D <3

Okay, I guess I want to try out. I have learned all the tags, and I always put the links to my artists. I know how to translate the artists names and everything. When I say the artist is ______________, Im normally ignored like GiiCHan. It really urkes me. I want the tags added and I have confidence I will do a good job. I know how to edit the Wiki, and Im doing good with adding tags. I find my images on Pixiv, and I go out of my way to find their names.

Applying to the team is fine, but do not attempt to lie to make yourself look better as an applicant. We do make these decisions based on what we see much more than what is written here, you know.
If you have a wiki account at all, it is not under your name. Nor are you on the active users list. You may know how to do it in theory or have done so on other sites, but that does not imply the same thing.
Derp. :T

Um...... I am probably late for joining selection, but I would LOVE to give a lending hand to my fellow members.

It's true, I have done many mistakes and gained many embarrassments, but I will try not to repeat those and help with the tags and the artist names.

I am available on Shuu on almost every day.

I finally figured out how to check out the artist names on Pixiv and also I know all the tags, including onsen and tanline.

Shuu Wiki is.... doubtful. I should ask someone how to operate it. I have no idea how to do it.

Hope someone consider my request!

Hello, I know I'm late for joining, but I'll try anyway :D

I've been a lurker on Shuu for many years. Then, I decided to make an account, lost the password, made another account, lost that password and now I'm on this one, with the password finally saved!

I'm not that good at finding artists', sometimes I forget a tag here and there. I can't read/or speak Japanese and my computer is old and slow, so its hard to download a translator. Some of the positive qualities are I got much better at tagging that I don't mess up as much anymore, from a bit of practice and I'm online a lot because my college doesn't start 'till Feburary 28th and I'm usually online for like 12 hours.

Yeah, I know. No life, lol. So, I think I can tag a lot of images and help because there are a bit of images without tags. Maybe like two, I see sometimes when I'm browsing. I follow the rules and try to help people tag there pics when I can. So, that's it. Hope I can join. :)

I was thinking, when people don't join the team. Could someone send them a message telling them what they should improve for they could end up joining at a later date? I think it would be helpful for people who really want to join and end up applying again and again, not knowing what's wrong. :)

Most of the time people get rejected because a) there are better candidates b) they can't help us with artists (which is what we need the most) c) we don't need people right now d) you have not been here long e) you're not active enough on the board/people don't know you as a presence very much f) you don't seem likely to stick around forever. The tagging team has to be everpresent and ready to help people with all of their issues; not just tagging. You have to be friendly and interactive, responsible, intelligent, and seem like a good choice for what is essentially a mini-mod. The tagging team is a decently big commitment, so we have to be fairly picky. We also don't want the team to be too huge.

Oftentimes the tagging team application is just a formality; we screen you by your posts and contribution on the board. The post here just lets us know you want to be in. Replying to everyone to tell them why they were rejected would be largely a bad use of effort.

If you're wondering for yourself in particular I would suggest contributing more to discussion as a normal user and not simply suggesting tags, learn how artists and their names work (we have information on the wiki or ask a tagger/mod about it (I know you said you don't know how, but you can learn, you don't have to download anything, and that is always what we need the most)), help us out with that, and become recognized as an active member who is going to stay around and want to help out consistently. :)

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the help. I get why you can't send it to them and it would probably be a waste of time, which is precious for the tagging team and mods. I'll take your advice and hopefully everything will work out well :D

Good... evening.

As you can guess, I'm writing on this topic because I would like to applicate for tagging team (unless you do not need any people now). I was thinking about it from a while, but waited untill I would be more confident that I can be help for you.

I am on the site year and half, so I think this is not too early for such a decision.
I am pretty active on site, always try to help other users as much as it is possible with my abilities.
My knowlegde of tags and site rules is good.
I am rather 'skilled' in translating artists' names and/or finding out proper artists' tags. I do not have bigger problems with navigating on original sites or blogs, pixiv is known by me very well.

Only problem would be Shuu Wiki.
I have theoretical knowledge how to edit it, but actually never have tried it in practice.
However, I think I would get it rather fast.

Thank you for your eventual consideration *bows*

Haihai!
Can I volunteer here? Yes? No? Maybe?
But anyways.

I've been here for about 3 years almost, and I know majority of the tags (if not, all the tags).
I'm pretty decent it comes to translating and locating artists and images.

I'm kinda active, but not as much as used to be.
I think it's partly because I can't find nice images orz

I don't know how to work Shuu Wiki well, but I could easily learn.

Ello everyone~

Imouto-tan has been giving it a lot of thought and she's finally gathered the courage to send in her application for the tagging team ^o^

I've been a member of E-ShuuShuu for almost 2 years and I've come to love the community very, very much! Being an average member is really fun for me, but I feel like I'm ready to help ShuuShuu more!

I'd like to start off by saying that I'm really good with all the tags! I've even helped come up with a few ^-^ I'm also good at finding out the names of original characters (granted they have one). I have a bit of trouble with artists, but I have discovered a lot of tools that can help me in tagging artists so I am willing to put forth an effort to make sure no image goes artistless! I'm not very well versed on the Shuu-Wiki, but I'm a pretty fast learner ^w^

I hope that you'll consider me because being able to help all my Onee-sans and Nee-sans would be a great honour~!

Hello :)
Its been quite a few months since I last applied and I think I've gotten a whole lot better. I can actually figure out artists names now, and I usually only post the pixiv link when there is no artist tag on the site. I don't post a lot of pics as I used to, just because of school, but I make sure to pop up here everyday to make sure I haven't missed anything. I've contributed to being a regular user, instead of just commenting about tagging, though mostly in the forum.

I don't have a wiki account, but I can always make one and I know tagging members do their best and that's why I stopped sending in tagging reports. I still see images without tags a bit, so I can help with that because I'm always finding new anime to watch and then I search for it on e-shuu. I've gotten to know how to search artists without a link to their page, by help from tagging members. So, please consider me because I think I could help out with all the tagging. Thanks. :)
