hmm personally I don't think sex info is really needed. It reduces possible hounding of users because they are a certain sex. If someone openly displays that they are male or female then of course that is their choice but otherwise it isn't something I would support. I enjoy places where what sex they are isn't always known. People tend to have more fun that way. Sometimes people unconsciously restrain themselves from saying certain things because of sex or because they are a certain sex they say stuff that can be uncomfortable.

Still think there's no need it's not like this is e-datingshuushuu. Just call people by their names and associate gender by avatar unless you know otherwise. It's the way ti's been and the way I think it should stay . . we've all grown with it and are much closer

This function is already present on the image board, when you click a user's name to see his/her profile, it has a gender tab.

I see little use of adding it to the forums.
