Simple is good ^^ I made the Yotsuba banner that's currently on the site and that's also a simple design. Overall, I like yours ^^
Though, I think the way the first 'h' in shuushuu blends into Rin (?) could be touched up for the better ^^
Also, if you want to put the 'E' in e-shuushuu on a separate line, you can get rid of the dash after it. Ok, that's my feedback, good work ^^

Oh, solwyvern, I tested your type A one out and I saw that the background wasn't white (I didn't notice when I first looked at it). Is that what you intended? I can make the spaces between the images single solid color to match the background of your images if you want. I am willing to do this because the image background is a light blue color and doesn't look bad against the white background of the general site. Let me know.
