First, you can write about anything on here. You don't have to have a "big" problem. A problem is a problem, no matter what it is. If you're feeling anxious about something and feel the need to talk about it, then feel free to talk about it on here. You have many friends on here, and we're all here for you. ^_^

I know public speaking is stressful. i just had a Speech class, so I know the feeling. Hardly anyone likes to public speak. Public speaking is much harder than acting, because in acting you can hide behind a character, but in public speaking, it's you up on stage. You always got to remember though that everyone is in the same boat as you are and they're feeling the same. They're not judging you and if someone truly is judging you, then that just shows they aren't a kind person. Whenever you public speak, know that someone in your audience is wanting to hear what you have to say and be confident in yourself, for what you have to say is important. Taking deep breaths and practicing/being prepared will help you to feel less stressed. Also, don't let your mind over-think the situation.

You're also not horrible for lashing out at your family members. It's normal to do that when you feel frustrated and/or stressed. It's perfectly alright and I'm sure they understand.

Anyway, it sounds like your done with your oral exam now. I hope it went well and I'm sure it did. Even though, I do not like talking about myself. Only when someone asks me. I do not like also talking about my feelings.
I keep everything in myself, which may have influence on my future health condition. But this is how I am. I am better as listener than speaker. That may be why my closest friends are pretty chatterboxes. Opposites attract.

I'm exactly the same. But sometimes venting off in the internet where no one really cares about you or knows you at all is a great way to put your own problems over the table

So I just woke up, about to scold my BFF for being a nuisance and shaking my bed, trying to wake me up. What actually happened was, that she WAS trying to wake me up, but the shaking was none of her doing.

My mother is pretty vulnerable when things like these happen and I really wanted to call her and check if she is okay, but it's 3am and i am scared that maybe nothing happened and i'll just disturb her sleep, which would be pretty bad as well. She has a pretty poor health ; _ ;
All this time I couldn't think about anything but her...and how sick I felt..

@RockRabbit: I understand the feeling of wondering if your family is safe after a storm or natural disaster. This past Fall there was a 5.8 magnitude earthquake with the centre just a couple dozen miles away from where my family lives. And two summers ago there was a micro-burst right smack in my home town which fell dozens of trees and destroyed quite a few homes. Both times I tried to contact my family, but got no answer. In the end everyone was fine, but during that time I was really worried about them. I hope your mother is alright, and I'll be sure to say a prayer for her safety.

@Aizawa: I'm sorry to hear that you had an argument with your wife. Arguments are no fun at all, but they are what really test and strengthen the relationship. I hope you guys are able to work it out together smoothly.

PEOPLE! I ROLLED ON THE FLOOR AND LAUGHED SO HARD SINCE AGES. IN. MY. NO-GOOD SCHOOL.

The reason? I missed an A in geography just because I didn't say 'Poland' was a neighboring country of 'Belgium'.

My teacher's been reading too much of Poland. She's been using the reference to Poland on almost every similar situation. Like, there's a question in my Text book, "Mention the three neighbours of Belgium". So here I was, like, puffing my chest in pride after answering the question, and then suddenly the teacher says, "It's France, Germany and Poland. -5 points for Astrid."

Say, have you ever seen a balloon go off when its mouth is released? My reaction was exactly that.

Apparently, she's never heard of a country called "Netherlands". Sorry, Kage-sama. No disrespect.

@Aizawa - Don't let that bother you. Your wife's a wonderful woman, and I'm sure you are going to have an even wonderful life with her and your baby. Arguments are common, and it's actually a sign of a healthy relationship. Just don't let the bickering cross the limit. I'm sure she'll accept your apology soon. Don't keep your spirits down ^^

@RockRabbit - OMG seriously? That must've been what Vel-chan was telling this morning in the Board. So, um, no offense but, how was the experience? Was it.... thrilling, scary, petrifying?

orz Sorry, I wanted to know your experience. The first time I felt an earthquake was during last month. I was visiting my Grandpa and Grandma in India, when a slight tremor of 3 point something gently shook the place. My Grandpapa said it was from the Indonesian Earthquake that happened during the same day. (FYI, they share the same plate)

Anyways, I hope everything will turn for the best.

@Alice That reminds me about when one of my art teachers back in middle school (I guess it's called that, I was about 9) told us that the basic colours were white, black and grey, and that the light was different, because there was no black light... He sent me out of the classroom when I corrected him (My mother worked in the family pre-printing services company back then and taught me lots of things about that stuff) /facepalm.

And as for the train incident, I once fell asleep in a bench on the station and I woke up only after the train whistled while it was leaving the station. I had to walk 3 miles to my mother's friend nearby to drop me off. ^^" Those are all little incidents which will bring a smile to our faces a long while after, thinking about the memories.
