Ah one of the best element sof "Samurai champloo" was how Fuu, Mugen and Jin became somewhat close to a family during their journey yet they omitted any real romantic plots between Fuu and Jin or Fuu and Mugen, which I find positive since it would have felt too forced to give the series any standard plot device it didn't need and would have been wholly unnecessary.
It was an excellent series, how 3 strangers come together, make a journey and bonds that forever change who they are and their outlook on life and then go their seperate ways to live on. Sublime, real,... terrific.

Not really a spoiler of her, "Samurai Champloo" doesn't really thrive or build on romantic pairings between its protagonists, which becomes apparent early on in the series and actually makes the series more interesting and compelling.
