A bunch of new site changes have gone live. Quite a few pages have been cleaned up and some of the URL formats have changed. Also, we've implemented an image search that allows you to scan the shuushuu database for similar images. This is also triggered while uploading new images.
Oh yeah, we've also added artist tags. Similar to the image theme tags and source tags, you can add any pre-existing artist tags to images. Now that we've converted a few important image fields to tags, we've also added a "Misc. Metadata" field you can put any text in. This can be used in the case where you need to give an artist or source that doesn't have a tag yet ^^
Since a lot of code was changed, please let us know if you find any problems on the site!

We just implemented some new features for shuushuu The biggest update this time around is how you login to the forums. All forum registration and username/password management is now done through the image board. Forums accounts have been disabled until users enable them through their image board profiles. If you had a forum account and wish to enable it, you should go to your profile on the image board and enable it there. Choose "I already had a forum account" and input your previous forum username and password. Once you have done this, from that point on you will login to the forums using your image board username and password. Any password changes on the image board will also take effect on the forums. If you have an image board account but never made a forum account, you can also create a forum account from your profile page on the image board. Simply select the "Create a new forum account" option to create the account. Sorry if this sounds a bit confusing. If anyone has any questions or problems, please post here. Thanks go to ADantes for the code updates to make this possible ^^ There also some other less impactful changes on the image board, including some style changes. You can set the option of having email notifications sent to your registered email address when you receive a new PM on the image board. If you see anything messed up, please let us know.

Forums are currently undergoing a complete upgrade to the new php system. Please bare with us as changes are gradually made and adjusted.

Search
The code for suggesting tags has been improved. It is now possible to scroll through the options using the up and down arrows and selecting your choice with the enter key.

Additionally, tags can be excluded from searches. To exclude a tag from a search, prefix the tag with an exclamation. This applies both to source and image tags. ex: "gun" !"dress" ( Search for all images with the tag gun, but not the tag dress )

Images
It is now possible to mark images as spoilers. The previews for all spoilers will be replaced with a notice, but the image is still fully accessible for anyone that chooses to follow the link.

Posts
IE users will find the quoting now works properly. Anyone without JavaScript will find that they can now reply to images correctly. Everyone will find that we have a new bbCode system in place. It supports the following tags:

• [quote="{Quotee}"]{Text}[/quote]
• [spoiler]{Text}[/spoiler]
• [spoiler="{The series being spoiled.}"]{Text}[/spoiler]
• [url]{Website address}[/url]

Note that URLs inside spoiler tags may still be visible.

Sites updates! Most importantly, the image source (anime, manga, etc) field is now handled as a tag. This means any image uploaded will need to have a pre-set image source tag applied to it. If you are trying to upload an image and can't find the right source tag to apply to it, let me, the mods, or tagging team know. We will get a tag created for the source. As always, let me know if you encounter any problems! ^^

The rating system has been redone to produce more accurate results using Bayesian weighting. See this thread for more info.

The search page has been updated with a new layout as well as field modifications. If you encounter any problems with it, please let me know.

Max Image Upload per Day has been reduced to 10.

Added some new features to the site: -Mass image tagger for mods and taggers -Quick tag feature for mods and taggers -Limit set on how many images a user can upload each day (experimental) -Added top images page (linked in nav menu) These changes included some backend changes so if you spot any bugs, let me know.

Giving an tag update for all users. We've added some fresh tags to allow searching for specific images a little easier. The new tags include: "warrior", "popsicle", "twin tails", "pirate", "character sheet", and "jewelry". Please note that the "popsicle" tag will soon be changed to "ice cream" for more practical uses.
