Re: Show All Information / tag suggestions

Cookies have zero impact on website functionality outside of determining whether you are currently logged in. Since its not issue other people are having, it probably comes from something bad being cached. Forcing a refresh should resolve the issue. On Windows, that's ctrl + R on the appropriate pag...

Re: Shuushuu update

It was a reported problem, but also confirmed as fixed. I'm not seeing any issues with the quick tagging feature on live or testing.

As a side note, please restrict all bug reports to the Bug Report Forum.

Re: Older Image Comments

People frequently view the image board as essentially a fancy forum where the starter of each thread is required to post an image. As a result, behaviours and patterns from forums (like berating any one who necros a thread) cross over. Attempting to change group behaviour is a long, messy process th...

Re: Multi-Tag Search Extension

jQuery, although more than a little outdated, is already included on every page on the website. The top half of that script can be removed as a result. There is a lot of repetition in selecting elements in the script. Performance wise, it would be better if you saved things like $('.tag') to a varia...

Re: â–º .: Banner Refresh :.

Due to performance reasons, the code for displaying the banner has now been updated. It will refresh every 30 minutes. This was more for client side performance. There's more than a few people that don't appreciate every page request having an extra 300kb tax. On the plus side, if you see a cute ba...

Re: Search help (date format?)

Of your listed examples, only 2-6-2010 doesn't work. The only potentially confusing aspect I see is that the end is at midnight for the listed day. Hence, a search from 2/6/2010 to 2/8/2010 will include ONLY images posted either 2/6/2010 or 2/7/2010. If you want to search for a single day, just omit...

Re: Tag Suggestion Thread

Thoughts on a tag for Torii? To save time for those unfamiliar, its the only term I am aware of for the gates found leading to Shinto shrines.

Re: rating system mechanics suggestion

My vote is for a simple Up/Neutral/Down system with the ratings themselves still displayed on our current 10 point scale, after Bayesian weighting has been applied by only taking into account the images with at least one vote (Nearly 2/3 of the images on the board have no ratings at all right now). ...

Re: Shuushuu Points!

in short people can have at max 1500 points with image upload. So they can only see 15 images per day with a size bigger than 500kb... people should use JPG now... ¬.¬ The exact numbers will probably be subject to change. Its just not possible to see how they would do on an isolated environment lik...

Re: E-shuushuu Mascot :D

Why do people assume that Photoshop somehow magically bestows talent on its users? There are plenty of open source and/or freeware solutions for drawing.

And my personal prediction for the proposal: DOOM. Just based on past experience.

Re: Child tag bug when using another tag

A little bit of testing shows that this is specifically an issue with the Two Piece tag. Search for Mizugi and remove Mizugi from all the images that only feature Two Pieces (where it shouldn't have been in the first place), and they disappear from the search results. School Mizugi is having the res...

Re: "Similar Images" Search Function

Despite Smithy's statements above, nothing on the website should require JavaScript to be enabled to work. Some conveniences will be missed though (quick tagging, replying without loading a new page, etc.). Similarly, cookies are only used for log in. Even so, there is very little that can break wit...

Wildcard does work. Just search for A* for all tags that begin with A, *world for all tags that end with world, etc.
