Archery became a sport after I don't know what century. Because now they have guns, so they don't need bows. Back in medieval days it was a weapon (using it with an arrow o/c).
And no, seeing a girl with a bow aiming at someone is not a sport.

The tag couldn't be called "bow" though, since that sounds like a ribbon bow. "bow and arrow"? Kind of clumsy, but it fits with the rest of our general tags.
I guess I wouldn't mind having a spears, scythes, halberds, etc all fall under a "polearm" tag.

And I would not expand the "weapon" tag any further after that.

I think it wouldn't hurt to have a "centaur" tag, since we have a "mermaid" tag, to cover the numerous Sagittarius drawings, along with things like http://e-shuushuu.net/image/331172/, http://e-shuushuu.net/image/360467/, http://e-shuushuu.net/image/359848/, http://e-shuushuu.net/image/260140/ and other things...

I think mermaids are much more of a normal thing to see in art, especially art of females, than centaurs and the like. I don't approve of a centaur tag. It also lends itself to furries much more than mermaids do.

I don't know if we need "centaur" tag since there are very few of them even on shuu.

But I don't think anyone would go through 118 pages of 50 images per page to check them :/ Maybe if we work in groups (20 pages / person). But people are lazy XP Unless we have to separate "Fate/Extra" "Fate/Zero" from "Fate/Stay Night" =P (raises hand)

I like "archer" , and we're not all lazy Ten! I like the idea of specific musical instrument tags and I'd have no objections to going through retagging the images. Guitar, piano, and violin would cover the major ones nicely imho.

Maybe instead of specific instrument names we could do "percussion instrument", "stringed instrument", "wind instrument"? (somehow I suspect this won't be a popular idea)

I don't know how long you have to go between suggesting the same tag, but I didn't get a definite yes or no last time and it hasn't been mentioned again since. It's been quite a few months and two pages ago, so, because I REAAAAALLY want this tag (I even have 150+ images bookmarked so if we get it, i'd be able to tag right away) i'll suggest again.

Music Player
ex: Mp3 Player, Tape Player, Record Player, CD Player, Radio, Boombox, Turn Tables, ect
Anything that is used to play and/or listen to music.

It's a super common item that can't always been found by using the "headphones" tag (as Boomboxes and Radios generally don't have them).

Also, if this tag is to be implemented, I think it should be a rule that it is VISIBLE. There's a lot of images with someone wearing headphones by themselves or images of people who have headphones on with the wires going into their pockets. I would think this would be self explanatory by the "Tag what you see" rule, but you know. ;D
