Old art - Japanese Woodblock (1800's?)

Post by lucky644 »

Wasn't sure where to ask...but perhaps someone here might know.

I have a very old woodblock painting, I'm looking for some info on it and perhaps the value.

I'm hoping someone here can read the text or perhaps can point me to a active forum for this type of art..

:)

I think I have a match...
The print seems to bear the signature of Kuniyoshi Utagawa. More info here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuniyoshi_Utagawa

As for value... you will probably have to get a professional to appraise it...
