If ecchi is a dagger +2 then Hentai is Blessed Holy Sword of Durgain +50

errrr -_-;;;

Anyhow it seems this topic has gone wayyyyyy off topic .. lol It's starting to sound like a LOL thread :P

I have a drawing a did recently on a paper towel at work ( >_< ) I sorta liked it though it had some mistakes in it so I started to vector trace it in photoshop and color it though I'm sorta lost on shading of the hair >_< and I still need to do the eyes and just brisk over the small piece of the shirt I drew. I'm not really sure where to post that . . here or in vector art or just create a whole new topic for it called Vectoring your own Art .. . LOL.

Hello, I am new here. I've been looking at the image board for a little while now. Anyway, I saw this and thought I would post some of my pictures. Please tell me what you think of them.

Okie dokie, since I had been stupid, I've moved this into this topic. ^-^

Okay, awhile ago I drew something, but since it obviously had many flaws, I decided to redraw it.

Although I'm happy with the outcome of the redone one, I know that it can always be better, and would appreciate any tips or advice you have to offer. Also, constructive criticism is welcomed and encouraged! ^-^

giving advice in drawing without criticizing the artstyle of each person is kinda hard, because everyone have his own way of doing things and his own point of view on other people drawings,so the only thing I can do to help is state the errors you made so you can correct them ^^
as the first one is the cat's body, which is far too tall for the size of his head, try to imagine him without the girls hand, the size of his neck will be a bit too tall,as for his legs, they are too small,I dont think he can walk with rabbit legs like those ^^
to correct this errors you can always try and watch photos of cats (or real cats if you have one) to decide the perfect balance between the size of each of his body parts, and always imagine the animals or humans you draw in other positions so you see if you made something wrong ^^
as for the second error,is pretty simple, the hands are going nowhere ^^;I absoluty understand why you did it cause it's just a real pain to draw hands (I still have a loot of problems dealings with them) so if you really dont want to add them in the drawing you should hide them more naturally (try to imagine yourself in this position and see where your hands goes) that's the best thing to do ^^

anyway, your drawing is pretty nice and I especially like the coloring of eyes in the first one ,you just have to train a bit more and you'll make very beautiful things ^^
I hope you liked my comment and I hope I didnt hurt you somewhere in my critic ,and I'm willing to see more from you o/ gambatte ^^

Thank you very much, Drake. ^-^ Now that you mentioned it, the cat's body does look small compared to the head. As for the hands, I'll have to work on this pose some more, because I had quite a bit of trouble trying to tuck the arms away correctly. I will probably redo this image again soon, because I think those corrections will make it much better. ^-^

Very nice, I like it :D
Though I think it would look more natural if the hand on the right was hanging on her arm like the left one is.
Very kawaii overall!

Actually, although the first drawing did have rabbit legs, cats actually have sorta long back feet. I found an example, not how good of one though, just to show what I was trying to do...

As for coloring... I haven't decided what method to try yet, as I've already proven in my pic for the 'original', I can't CG at all. -_-
