How do I make the taskbar NOT hide when I open a program? I have had this laptop since August and it just started doing this today after a system update. I tried Googling for help but all I found was people who wanted the taskbar to hide.

I have "Auto-hide the taskbar" unchecked but that doesn't help.

edit: huh, never mind, it stopped doing it after a shutdown.

For the next time there is a checkbox under the auto hide option. That toggles the visibility of the taskbar over all windows on and off
