Your fingers start to cramp, but you cannot stop. There is no way of stopping. every idea, every thought you have must be written down. You long for a drop of water and you hope you can lay down your medium soon. But soon will not come. Soon will never come...

I wish I could Stop having Nightmares

You stop having nightmares. In fact you stop dreaming at all. Or do you? There is a black void filling every second of your sleep. Nor light nor sound disrupt this unnending blackness that is embracing you every time you manage to fall asleep. They say a dream is just a small death after all, so maybe this is just how it feels during eternal rest? You don't know. You feel nothing, you think nothing. You only know that you are trapped in this limbo unable to wake up in the middle of this. When you do finally wake up with the first morning light, you cannot remember where you have been in your dream or what it even was about, but still you feel cold sweat running down your back at the very thought you will have to fall asleep again tonight.
Now tell me... Isn't that simply a nightmare in other form?
