Search help (date format?)

When you search for images posted on a specific date, what format should the date be in? I'm trying the
Advanced Search and I tried searching with the start and end dates set to "February 6th, 2010" and then I tried it set to "2-6-2010" and then I tried "2010-2-6" and nothing's working!

It's something like month/day/year, like 12/01/2009. I think there is also some issue with the result, as last time I tried I didn't get the complete result for one day.

Of your listed examples, only 2-6-2010 doesn't work. The only potentially confusing aspect I see is that the end is at midnight for the listed day. Hence, a search from 2/6/2010 to 2/8/2010 will include ONLY images posted either 2/6/2010 or 2/7/2010. If you want to search for a single day, just omit the end date.
