I have been wandering how dose one become a moderator on e-shuushuu? What does one have to do?
Also I have been wandering how dose one join the "tag team"?
I would love to help e-shuushuu either with tags or just cleaning up the images, removing the re-posts or deleting unwanted images.
I have alot of time on my hands, since half the time I'm in bed [do to an illness ] having something to do every day would be grate. Reading books and writing everyday kind of gets a bit old. *chuckles*

I figured out what I could do for e-shuushuu and how I can help keep the image board clean and organized. After thinking for a while I came up with a grate idea [well I think its grate]. Has anyone noticed how many "disabled" images are up and how many "re-post" images are up? I realized that you can choose if you want to see disabled images, but the fact is they are still there taking up room and space on the board. Well since I have alot of time to spare [being sick really sucks] and just want something to keep myself busy I figured I could be the "clean up girl". Removing the disabled and re-post images on e-shuu2. Deleting those images will also give more room for the new images.

I also think that once the image is removed completely that the "Image Posts" should also change for the person who posted the image.

I think that' would disturbe the image IDs

Honestly I don't think anyone even pays attention, plus the images that have been deleted can always be replaced with new once.

Images used to be deleted in the past, but we no longer do that.

Well the reason was said recently somewhere on the board but I will repeat.

We don't delete images in case we need to re-enable them. A long time ago, we didn't allow people to post images from artist which had forbidden reposting of their work. But due to a change of policy, they were allowed, so all previous picture could be enabled. However a moderator was deleting old disabled images so instead, they needed to be re-uploaded. So feature was removed. Moreover, by default, disabled images are hidden to members so there is no need for deleting just to keep the board clean. As for storage, website currently use 177GB. I don't remember if there was any server upgrade meanwhile, but in the news session, it's stated that we have moved to a server with 250GB of space.

Otherwise, it doesn't mess the id at all. Think of a table from which you just removed one element, the others doesn't move.

However a lot of the re-post images are either of low quality or smaller then the new posted originals. I just think they're a waist of space personally.

So do I, but it is how it is.
anony decided to remove the feature, and it's probably never going back.
