Site banners (take 2)
humm, thanks Amfest,I can see very well the stretching problem now
as for the 1280x800 resolution,it's kinda okay,it dont look very bad, even in the 1600x1200 it's not that ugly, but it's true that it feels empty, but I think it's the same thing for every other ban,we cant do very much for this types of screens
well anyway,I'm still waiting for anony's desicion ,wait and see ^^

Alright, I'm back.
LadySakura, your new version looks much better ^^
I think I will add it to the site soon. The only thing that may be an issue is the placement of the text. I have a feeling the e-shuushuu.net may appear too high when placed on the site, but we'll see about that ^^
Drake, good work, it's a very nice banner. As for the border thing, the border has to be made in the site code since the banners aren't connected at higher resolutions. What I can do, however, is add a border color setting for each banner. That way, each banner could have a custom border color which would fit better. I could even make a custom thickness for each banner, though I'm not sure if that is really needed.

Drake, the border and font is beautiful. please use this,
=P
@ LadySakura: I agree with the all Sakura theme. sounds good.
Great banners guys, don't expect any from me though. I'm drained. =_='

Don't worry, there's no deadline or rush on this. In fact, I prefer people take their time so they can give it a dedicated effort and make some great banners!solwyvern wrote:dern it, I want to make one, but I've been pulled away by my vector, and I'm extrmely exhausted now, my mind feels blank. =_=
BTW, very nice vectored image ^^
e-shuushuu!
as I said before, the vector is very beautiful ,but dont you think this characters here are even more "sad" ?
but if you want a personnal sig of this pic I can make it ^^
as for anony ,thanks for the answer,if you have to choose a color for my ban you can use the one I already used in the full version ,and thanks ^^
I want to make one also but I can't find images at least good res ones I want to use and since I've only attempted 1 vector and it was horrible at the most I think my chances of creating one are pretty much nil maybe I should give vectoring a try out again .. although even if I can get the images I want done when it comes to putting lettering down I have no clue
I tried my hand at a banner for the image board:
Full banner:
Left part:
Middle part:
Right part:
I kept it simple (less is more). The format is .png with a white background, but I can set it to transparent if that's preferrable?
I used pink and soft yellow because they should match well enough with the blue of the image board (I hope...).
The theme is kawaii nekomimi powaa!!

Oh LadySakura, I just noticed a few small things on the banner that need to be fixed.
If you look above the 'a' in kawaii and the 'b' and 'o' in board, there are a few little bits of color, probably leftover from the previous hearts and butterflies. Also, there are a couple to the left and right of Misuzu.
Can you remove those? Thanks ^^
