The drawing topic!
Re: The drawing topic!
@Yuki-chan: I can't draw on my laptop for the life of me so my sketches and inking always have to be spot on before I scan them to colour them >.>
I suck at using a tablet (even though I actually do have one...) so I do all my colouring with a mouse lol
My hand-eye-co ordination is rubbish when it comes to trying to look at the screen and holding a pen at the same time ^^;;
@Nana-tan: Why thank you hun
I was fairly pleased too
@D-chan: More yaoi next time, ne? ^0^
I'm going to draw some of the scenes from my fanfic~

Goodness, I love their expressions LilFlow! x3LilFlow wrote: Yeah, so I wasn't going to draw anything for this because of the principle of being British on the 4th July, but meh!
HBD America~!
USUK ftw! lol
Still, I rushed the colouring a bit otherwise I never would have finished it today
This time I bring an early birthday present for Yuki-chan!
Re: The drawing topic!

@Lilflow: xD I see~ Well, practice makes perfect right? It was difficult for me too, but I got used to it after using my tablet for so long XP *can't use the mouse at all*
@Hakuyru: *A* OHMYGOSHITSADORABLEEEE <3 I love it ;3; Thank you so much! You're so kind to draw me something for my birthday ;3; Thank youuuu <3333
@Riken-tan: Oh! That's a good improvement from your last work! It's much better than my works at your age I'm sure. XP

i thought it was Taiga ; w ;'''
Rikenta-chan, that's very cute ^^
What did you use for the lines, they look a bit weird to me o.o
if it's a regular pencil, what brand are you using?

Re: The drawing topic!
@Haku-chan: Like I said on dA- she's adorable~!
Love it <3
@Yuki-chan: I've been working with normal pencils for too long not to be able to try and look at where the pen is XD
Being an art student has its downsides I suppose
@Rikenta-tan: That's a massive improvement on your past work!
Really very good ^-^
Did you draw it straight with a pen or in pencil first because it looks like the ink has faded slightly
If you rubbed out any pencil lines after inking it might be because of that. You may need to be more delicate with your rubber (eraser or whatever people want to call it... yay being british lol >.>)

Re: The drawing topic!
I used one of those Japanese ink pens... you know the ones you use for writing with ^^U (forgot the name) It's double-sided, one side fine and thin; And other side thick, brush-ish >w>;; I used the fine side for it, only to test it, and then I went crazy with it and....vola! ^^U
I try my hardest on my drawings....but then things don't go too well... ^^U

No, I think it's good!
I think that just a bit more care needs to be taken when inking might improve the line quality.
Otherwise it's brill! ^-^

Ugh... Sorry, for silence. IRL problems. Anyway:
2 Myu-chan
Thanks a lot!

Pencil and pen drawing on paper always will be cool

Ahem. Can I add some MECHA in this kawaii thread? ^^"

That's pretty strange. I and my buddies get along with tablet-drawing for 1 day maximum. I never heard about something like this. Guess it adaptation is pretty different from person to person.@ksen: I do all my computer drawing with a mouse because my hand-eye co-ordination with my tablet is terrible! I always want to look at what the pen is doing rather than what's on the screen. I always draw everything in pencil and pen on paper first then do all my editting on my lappy ^^;;
That's why I could never do something like that! lol

Re: The drawing topic!
wow, ksen, this is very impressive! 0w0
I love how much detail you have added~ Here's a little secret - I enjoy watching mecha, but I can't draw it for the life of me! XD
Your realism drawings are very interesting, would surely love to see more!
Oh, and as for the tablet discussion: I still have problems with drawing directly on the computer too. Mostly because the same drawing looks completely different when done on the pc or by hand D:
I'll give an example one day xD

Re: The drawing topic!
I have decided a date to have a livestream post! How about 2:00 PM (Pacific time) on the 9th? If that's a bad date or time, I can change it!
I'll probably be working on this, but I can doodle and stuff as well. Or work on other things. xD

Re: The drawing topic!
Well, pacific time is -8. Whatever your time zone is, make the difference with -8. For example, if it's -5, that means I'm 3 hours behind. So you add three hours to your time.
But that is an example. Depends on the actual time zone and what the number for it is.
