Well, I don't know why other ppl hate her, but I never liked her because she was verry annoying.And, as I said before

she killed Asura, which was one of my fav. char from Soul Eater

Her being the more powerful one is quite mandatory, right? I mean, next to Soul she's pretty much the main character. And killing Ashura...well, since he was the most powerful villian in the series, it was bound to happen eventually, right? If it was Shinigama-sama and Death Scythe who killed Ashura, would you've hated them just as much?

I'm not saying that you can't hate her, because it's not my right at all to tell you what to say, I'm only stating my opinion on, well, your opinion. ^^;

Well I almost always hated main char. so it was imposible for me to like Maka.

If Shinigami-sama and Death Scythe (or even Kid) would kill Ashura I wouldn't hate them because they aren't annoying (imo) and I really liked Shinigami-sama.I don't hate Maka just because she killed Ashura, that would be really stupid lol.But I didn't liked her even before that.When she killed Ashura I just hated her even more than before lol
