Basic Information
CARNELIAN (カーネリアン) is a Japanese illustrator, doujinshi author, genga artist and video game creator.
After leaving the game production team relic (the predecessor of âge) in 1998, she established game company Orbit with others.
She runs a doujinshi circle of the same name, CARNELIAN. The circle began to produce board games in 2019[1], before the name change of the board game department in 2020, to ARIDESIGNE◆BoardGameClub[2].

Notes
- Japanese Wikipedia says CARNELIAN is the representative director of ARIDESIGN and Orbit, and director of Root, but need some kind of citation.
- I am still unsure how ARIDESIGN (the company) relates to Orbit. They are listed as two separate companies on CARNELIAN's Japanese Wikipedia page, though on the Orbit Wikipedia page, ARIDESIGN is listed as the company. The board game doujinshi circle, ARIDESIGNE◆BoardGameClub, is not the same thing but is probably related.
