Basic Information

Fire Emblem (ファイアーエムブレム) is an fantasy RPG series. Images of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light (FE1) use this tag, along with Fire Emblem images from no specific game, while characters exclusive to specific other games of the franchise use the child tags.

Tagging Information

Characters in the series have both an English and Japanese name, that both require tags if the names cannot be aliased.

When the names can be aliased (when no other characters use these tags), the Japanese name takes priority as the primary tag. This has not yet been checked and corrected.

Characters are currently tagged under the first game that they appear in, as they were exclusive to this game on release. This is because many of the child tags have been added at a later date and it'd be a lot more work to sort by each design. This includes Fire Emblem characters that are present in other games, such as Super Smash Bros..

Although the tags for the remakes are only for exclusive characters, images that are obviously only exclusive to the remake in other ways are also included.
