Basic Information
Fire Emblem Gaiden (ファイアーエムブレム外伝) is the second installment of the Fire Emblem fantasy RPG series. Therefore, this tag is a child tag to Fire Emblem. Characters and images exclusive to Fire Emblem Gaiden use this tag; this includes characters that were first introduced to the series in this game. The remake of this game is Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (FE15).
Tagging Information
Characters in the series have both an English and Japanese name, that both require tags if the names cannot be aliased.
When the names can be aliased (when no other characters use these tags), the Japanese name takes priority as the primary tag. This has not yet been checked and corrected.
Fire Emblem characters are currently tagged under the first game that they appear in, as they were exclusive to this game on release.
Although Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (FE15) is the remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, images tagged with FE15 must be exclusive to the remake in some way. They are otherwise still tagged as Fire Emblem Gaiden.
Child source tags cannot have child tags without their images being excluded from the primary source, so Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia cannot be a child of Fire Emblem Gaiden.
