Webtoon
Webtoons (웹툰) are a form of digital comic originating from South Korea, that are formatted to scroll vertically on a mobile device. They are often serialised and are sometimes adapted into manga or novel formats.
The category of webtoon, should be reserved for comics that scroll vertically; not webcomics (see Webcomic) or other manga.
Promotional Webtoons
Promotional webtoons are single episode webtoons, or one-shots, released to promote webnovels. Similar to webnovels, they usually do not have official English translations. Promotional webtoons also come under the Webtoon Category.
Webcomics
Webcomics are a form of digital comic that retain a layout with pages, despite often being unpublished.
Webcomics should be sorted into the Webcomic Category, rather than into the Webtoon Category.
