Basic Information
Code Geass (コードギアス) is a Japanese anime series and franchise. Images of the series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion use this tag, along with the second series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 and the Lelouch of the Rebellion/Lelouch of the Resurrection (復活のルルーシュ) movie series. CLAMP is the original character designer.
Additional Information
- Although there is a manga in the same name (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion), illustrated by Majiko!, that was published after the anime, all manga variants have slightly different stories.
- A one-shot story, Code Geass: I Am the Garden of Reminiscence (コードギアス 我は還れり記憶の園), was given to those who booked tickets to see Code Geass: Akito the Exiled 2, that was illustrated by Toujou Chika. The story involves both Akito the Exiled and Oz the Reflection, so is tagged with both.
- Code Geass often appears on the cover and within various magazines, including Newtype, Animedia and Animage.
Tagging Information
- The Lelouch of the Rebellion movies (Koudou, Handou and Oudou) briefly show characters from side stories and spin-offs, but they are still tagged as being exclusive to their original source.
- Geass can be tagged with heterochromia if the character has mismatching-colored eyes. It may also require the magic tag, despite geass not being called magic within the series.
- Cheese-kun is tagged with theme tag stuffed animal, despite him not being an animal.
Side Stories/Spin-Offs/Adaptations Under This Source
- Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally (コードギアス ナイトメア・オブ・ナナリー)
- Code Geass: Renya of the Darkness (コードギアス 漆黒の蓮夜)
- Code Geass: Maelstrom of Libra (コードギアス 戦渦の天秤)
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - LOST COLORS (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ LOST COLORS)
- Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ ナナリーinワンダーランド) - (tagged with Alice in Wonderland and theme tag crossover)
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 Pachislot (パチスロコードギアス 反逆のルルーシュR2)
- Code Geass: Battle Link (コードギアス バトルリンク / コードギアスBattle Link)[1]

Allowed and Disallowed Traps
For a full list of accepted traps, see List of Traps.
- If Lelouch Lamperouge is dressed as Luluko from Picture Drama episode 9.33, he does not count as a trap (he is only crossdressing), unless the artist states that he has been fully genderswapped, in which case he instead requires the genderswap tag.
- If Lelouch Lamperouge is dressed in his arabian dancer outfit from Picture Drama episode 9.34, he is considered to be a trap and requires the trap tag, unless the artist states that he is fully genderswapped, in which case he requires the genderswap tag.
- If Lelouch Lamperouge is dressed in his bridal outfit from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - LOST COLORS, he is only allowed if fully genderswapped, as he is only crossdressing and the game is non-canonical[2]. Fully genderswapped, he requires the genderswap tag.
- If Kururugi Suzaku is crossdressing in his outfit from Picture Drama episode 9.33, he is only allowed if he is fully genderswapped; his crossdressing is humorous and not to fool anyone. Fully genderswapped, he requires the genderswap tag.
