- Genga (原画) literally means "original picture".

- OEL stands for "Original English Language". It is often used to refer to light novels or manga that were originally written in English, rather than Japanese.

Puni
- Puni (ぷに) is an art style that emphasises the curves of characters' faces, cheeks and hips, resulting in a more childlike appearance.

SDs / SD Characters
- SD stands for "Super-Deformed" (aka. chibi). Often used when specific artists illustrate the chibi versions of characters in visual novels. On E-Shuushuu, SD CGs and other images are tagged as chibi.
